Gary was an excellent instructor and didn’t mind at all that we finished quite late. He was very encouraging and patient, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Thank you - we will be back for sure!

Reception area had great views of variety of helicopters and small planes
Greeted by a very friendly polite instructor Mak.
This was... read more a birthday present for my dad, he absolutely loved every second that we couldn't get him away from the controls.
The simulator is very realistic, we flew around and landed at variety of airports, weather and visibility.
Maks teaching skills, humour and knowledge is amazing im a a320 pilot myself and wished I had an instructor like mak.
Thank you virtual aerospace and huge thank you to mak who made my dad's experience one he will never forget.

Lloyd takes you thru all pre flight checks, then you... read more taxi out ready for take off!!
I chose to take off and land back at Heathrow, which went well...then Lloyd suggested I land at Hong Kong....which was another experience, but didn’t crash theplane!
Fantastic way to spend an hour and will probably return as enjoyed it so much.
Thank you to Lloyd.

Nothing was too much... read more trouble and he gave us, (there were three of us), a brilliant four hours of simulated flying, setting up the simulator so we could take off or land at pretty much any airport of our choice, (the old airport of Hong Kong, Kye Tak was pretty challenging).
I myself have a P.P..L (Private Pilots Licence) but have't flown for quite a few years and I was quite rusty. Never the less, Mak took that into consideration and gave me a bit of a free rein but was still there when I needed it.
All together a brilliant day, with a really nice guy called Mak. All three of us were talking about it on the homeward journey and would recommend it 100%.
I'd love to do a moving simulator but that's a little bit expensive to justify and probably wouldn't get that request past by her indoors
Once again many many thanks to Mak for giving us all a day to remember.
BRILLIANT DAY.

Many thanks to Gary who was very informative and professional especially when... read more dealing with a few technical issues within the flight simulator itself.
I would highly recommend this experience to any aviation enthusiast!

Good value and a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable time. Highly recommended if you need to know what goes into delivering you to your holiday destination.

Mak my instructor for the session; first of all asked me about my goals and what I would like to achieve based on my skill level gained on Microsoft Flight Simulator.
I asked to route from various German airports; which was no problem and the simulator was configured and I was welcomed into the captain's chair. Did a cold and dark startup and gained insight on how to do this correctly from Mak.
The instructions were clear and helpful and Mak matched my level of understanding and he also went on to explain in more details, some of the things I didn't know and gave excellent pilot tips and tricks on controlling the aircraft and computer systems.
Overall the customer service was amazing; instructions spot on and had a really good time and learnt and enriched my knowledge of the aircraft.
Top tip: It is well worth getting a video recording of the session and the cold and dark process.
Finally; Mak thank you for your guidance and excellent customer care. My simple measure of the experience is this; I will return to fly again; this time with my family.. you have been warned...

I had a fantastic hour with Terry, who took... read more a complete novice from basic knowledge to successful take offs and landings.
Terry was a great instructor and managed to make the complicated understandable but also a lot of fun.
I will definitely be back.

I had planned a list of activities at home, Lee (the sim instructor) listened and brought my wish list to life. I asked to avoid startup and taxi time and wanted to get straight into flying and found myself sat at the end of the runway with both engines 'turning and burning'.
We started with circuits at Luton, followed by take off and general handling (stalling) over the coast at Dohar. Next we moved to Hong Kong to try our hand at a very demanding landing at Kai Tak (aim for the checker boards).
Lee had a few surprise missions for us (I won't spoil it for you) which added to the fun. He then suggested I try an engine failure on take off at Luton. The engine died in the climb and was accompanied by flap and other failures. Strangely the weather also conspired against me with massive thunderstorms lighting up the sky around us. I got the jet back on the deck with only one engine and was thanking providence I had used anti-perspirant earlier in the day!
I highly recommend Virtual Aerospace and Lee as patient, accommodating and amiable hosts.
My son (he is in his early twenties) is not a private pilot, shared the session with me. He also enjoyed his time in the simulator.

We arrived and sat in the departure lounge and then Daniel, my instructor came to introduce himself and ask a bit about my experience about flight simulators and the like. He took us down to the simulator where my wife and lad were comfortably seated in the cabin whilst Daniel and i headed for the cockpit.
I had asked if I could do a flight from Manchester to Glasgow which i did with no autopilot, really was amazing how quickly it went by but still required a lot of monitoring on my part.
Daniel then suggested a few challenging approaches and landings and I surprised myself at not crashing but still had an absolutely amazing time and would do it again in a heartbeat.
Thanks to Daniel for being an excellent host and guiding through the procedures and the like as well and pretty sure I’ll be back for more.

The simulators, for there are two - the Vulcan, and a Boeing 737, are situated upstairs in a commercial property housing a few units. Customers will be given the code to the door, and they will quickly find themselves in departures (see picture).
My wife and I were shown though to the simulator itself, and my/our host Daniel had me installed in the pilots seat and going through pre-flight in what felt like a moment. After a brief IT hiccough, I was asked to taxi the Vulcan to a take-off position...
What followed was possibly the quickest 60 minutes or so of my life - having taken off from what is now Robin Hood Airport your reviewer visited Manchester, Blackpool, Morecambe Bay, and The Lake District. Sorry to share this with you, but it was sweaty palms by the end. Daniel was patient to the end and was told as much by your reviewer.
The Vulcan Simulator is a fantastic piece of engineering that gives 'flyers' a taste of what it was to be a Cold War bomber pilot. If you or your 'presentee' have the slightest interest this is not to be missed.

I would highly recommend this experience. I did not want it to end!

All staff we encountered where lovely especially my fathers... read more co-pilot for the day Gareth.
The experience as a whole was exceeded my high expectations. There was a slight fault with the simulator half way through my dads Manchester-Isle Of Man flight and it was instantly compensated with a longer, more detailed second flight which he was extremelly happy about as it allowed him to perfect his take off 🙂
Big thank you to the whole team for making the day special. Will certainly be returning again in the near future and I will be having a go myself!!
